June 6 – 26, 2014
At the Richard Hugo House

Theatre22’s first annual PRIDE SERIES presents The Lisbon Traviata. Catty comedy meets operatic tragedy. Stephen adores Maria Callas and shares this obsession with his best friend, the wildly flamboyant opera queen, Mendy. They dish the latest gossip late into the night to distract Steven from a crumbling relationship with his long-time boyfriend. When Steven attempts to confront personal demons, his own life takes on the scale of grand opera.
